Approximately five years ago we released the album" Jazz & the city", which became an immediate success with more than 30 000 albums sold. Now we dare to repeat this success - this time with a completely unique content! One of the CDs in this 2CD box contains Nordic material only, which we market as "Divas of Nordic Jazz". It's a selection with some of the most celebrated and known young Nordic female jazz singers from the Nordic countries, with a good foothold in their respective home countries. You have most probably heard of Rigmor Gustavsson, Helle Brunvoll, Sophie Pettersson, Zelma, Ira Kaspi, Gunhild Nyborg, LaGaylia Frasier. If not, it's an excellent opportunity to buy this compilation! These names give the tone of CD1 with modern, smart and sensual jazz, which the Nordic region has gotten itself known for in the Jazz world. Listen to the album and dream yourself away while you glance through this well designed "coffee table"-box with its beautiful pictures in a New York atmosphere. CD2 contains standards by famous jazz legends in unique interpretations. This is not the Rat Pack - this is the Jazz Legend Party Pack. so what do you say? We say - Jazz & the city! LÅTAR: 1.
