Professionally developed, the Tech-Air® 5 system is Alpinestars’ most advanced motorcycle airbag system for street riders, offering autonomous upper-body protection in a vest. Six sensors and an AI algorithm deploy in 20–40 ms, reducing impact forces by up to 95% and providing protection for the shoulders, chest, ribs, and entire back. Wearable under textile or leather jackets with 4 cm of chest clearance, the Tech‑Air® app offers STREET and RACE modes (for closed racetracks only). Technical Features AI-based crash detection: The Tech‑Air® 5 system’s algorithm, trained on millions of kilometers of data, delivers precise, situation-aware protection. Deployment Time Optimization: Intelligent event classification triggers inflation only when necessary, protecting you at the critical moment and minimizing false activations. Energy Absorption Benchmarking: Impact absorption validated against strict industry benchmarks to reduce the risk of injury in real-world road scenarios. Protection Equ...
