Beskrivning

Georgian Water Mixable Oil paints are an excellent alternative to traditional oil paints as they offer artists the possibility to experience oil painting without the use of solvent-based oil mediums such as turpentine or white spirit. The smooth consistency of these water mixable oil paints allows artists to use them directly from the tube with a brush or a palette knife. They echo traditional oil paints and can be used for the impasto technique, or be thinned out using water to create wash effects similar to watercolour paints. They are ideal to use in a studio or a classroom environment as these paints are solvent free and are better for health and the environment. This new generation of oil paint can be cleaned using only water. We recommend using these water mixable oil paints with synthetic or sable brushes as bristle brushes do not react well in contact of water. Georgian Water Mixable Oil boasts an extended range of 40 stunning colours made with exceptional pigments. All of them have an excellent lightfastness ranking from 3 to 4 stars. Georgian Water Mixable Oil paints offer a reliable, quick and even drying time across the range. They are surface dry in 5 to 7 days depending on the colour and ensure a consistent result from wet to dry. These are perfect for any professional artists and art students alike and made in the UK. Daler-Rowney offers a complementary range of mediums to use in perfect harmony with Georgian Water Mixable Oil paints. Georgian oil is available in a complete suite of products, including paints, mediums, pads, brushes and artboards, all designed to work in perfect harmony and cater to the oil paint techniques.
